Problematics in India and why we need your support!
Social gap in India is extreme. The life quality of the vast majority of the Indian population has not increased except for an dynamic economic growth of the middle class in recent years. Its strict hierarchical casts system shapes a static behaviour of society. Stepping out from poverty is then even more difficult as heavy administration system and widespread corruption being considered.
The State of Rajasthan belongs to the poorest and most socially backwards of the country. About half of the population lives under poverty standards and a lot of children visit no school or quits before courses completion. Women and children coming from the strongest disadvantaged social groups are often being excluded from educational programs.
Development+ works in close collaboration with its Indian partner organization Anand Bharti Care and Development Society (ABCDS). ABCDS was created in 1997 by Indira and Mansingh Lamba. It fights against social grievances through providing a large panell of educational and vocational training programs to social disdvantaged people. A.B.S School in the quarter of Moti Nagar in Jaipur belongs to it and provides classes form first to twelvthgrade.
